DMZ awards $170,000 to 10 Black-led Canadian startups at Black Innovation Summit

Toronto Metropolitan University’s DMZ selected 10 Black-led startups for $170,000 in combined investments and grants. The program gives early-stage founders capital and support in a Canadian market where Black-led startups received a small share of venture funding.
