FACE awards $200,000 in equity-free funding to Black-led Canadian startups

The Federation of African Canadian Economics awarded $200,000 in non-dilutive funding to three Black-led startups through the Melamoon 2026 competition. M’Lisa Colbert won the $100,000 grand prize, while Kiwi Charge founder Abdel Ali received $75,000 in combined awards.
