Aries Media Ventures launches fund for African media technology startups

Aries Media Ventures launched its first fund to invest in angel-, pre-seed- and seed-stage startups at the intersection of media, entertainment and commerce. The fund has already backed Aktivate, HustleSasa and Book Mahali, although its total size and individual check amounts were not disclosed.
