Tyler Perry's BET+ stake is bought out as Paramount moves the service into Paramount+

Paramount Skydance has reportedly bought out Tyler Perry’s minority stake in BET+, ending the last direct Black ownership link in the BET ecosystem. The move also positions BET+ to be folded into Paramount+ starting in June 2026, changing how the platform is distributed and controlled.
