Grindstone Ventures launches a R500 million fund for African startups

Grindstone Ventures, led by Thandiwe Maqetuka, launched a R500 million fund to invest in technology-enabled African businesses from seed through Series A. The fund says at least 50% of its portfolio is targeted to be black-owned, making it directly relevant to Black-led venture capital in the region
