Grindstone Ventures launches a $31.3 million fund with a target to back black-owned African startups

Grindstone Ventures launched a ZAR 500 million fund, equivalent to about USD 31.3 million, to invest in technology-enabled African businesses from seed through Series A. The firm said at least 50% of its portfolio is targeted to be black-owned.
