FINCA Ventures awards $400,000 to six African startups

Six African startups received a combined $400,000 in catalytic grants through the 2026 FINCA Ventures Prize Competition. Winners included Kenyan fintech company VunaPay, which received $100,000, and Kumbatia Seafood, which also received $100,000 to expand its operations.
