DMZ awards funding to Black-led startups at Toronto innovation summit

Toronto Metropolitan University’s DMZ selected 10 Black-led startups to pitch for $170,000 in funding at its sixth annual Black Innovation Summit. Hey Cleo received $100,000 in investment and $10,000 in grant funding, while Curvis received $50,000 in investment.[3]
