Black-founded startups in the U.S. raised $643 million in early 2026

A Black Enterprise post on LinkedIn reported that Black-founded startups raised $643 million in the first months of 2026, nearly 70% of their total for all of 2025. That points to a stronger fundraising environment for Black founders, even though the share of overall venture capital remains small.[1
