Aries Media Ventures launches Fund I for African MediaTech startups

Aries Media Ventures launched its first venture fund to back early-stage MediaTech startups in sub-Saharan Africa. The firm has already invested in Aktivate, HustleSasa and Book Mahali, although the fund’s total size and individual allocations were not disclosed.
