Akron sets 10 percent certified SBE target on $8 million lead pipe replacement contracts

Akron will require at least 10% certified small business participation on two lead service line replacement contracts worth a combined $8 million. The city also launched a new SBE Spotlight program with local partners including the Black Chamber of Commerce Summit County.
