African startup funding report highlights concentration in top deals

Nairametrics reported that the top 10 African startups raised $428 million in August 2026, accounting for 98.35% of the $435.2 million raised by 32 startups that month. The concentration of capital is significant for Black founders and operators competing for limited funding.
